Honda Freed is not a popular car on Kenyan roads, this is a good thing when it comes to price, low demand means affordable prices. The vehicle comes with 5 to 7 seats, the ground clearance is around 6.5 inches which is not that bad. Honda is also known for its reliable engines and the Honda Freed is not an exemption, this means that running cost is also going to be affordable since also the fuel economy is good. 3. Nissan Juke

Nissan Juke is a car with both lovers and dislikes, if you love this compact crossover SUV, then you can get a 2013 model or below with Ksh 920,000. While Juke is a reliable car, there is a main issue with the CVT/ transmission system and you will need to service it regularly and take care of it. Apart from the transmission, the vehicle is all good with great ground clearance and good fuel economy.

4. Mitsubishi Mirage

Mitsubishi Mirage is a compact car that comes either as a hatchback or a Sedan. With Ksh 750,000 you can get yourself a foreign used Mirage. The only thing that you might not like about the vehicle is the compact size and basic interior. The ground clearance is tolerable and the reliability is great, the fuel economy is also very good, all this makes the car a good pick for someone who is looking for a budget vehicle.

5. Honda Fit

As we stated, you would afford a foreign used Honda Fit with a budget of 1 Million or less, however, the price has gone past one million for a foreign used one. However, with Ksh 800,000 you can get a 2014 model or below. The vehicle is one of the most reliable and it also has great fuel economy. Honda fit also comes with tech features that you will not get in most cars in its class.

6. Mazda Demio

Mazda Demio is another car that was below the 1 million mark, for now with 800,000 and below, you will be able to purchase a 2014 model going downwards. Expect the snapping of the rear axial, there have not been major problems reported on the Demio, it is hence a reliable vehicle. Additionally, the fuel economy is great and the maintenance cost is low.

7. Nissan Ad Van

Nissan Ad Van is known to be the perfect alternative to the Toyota Probox. With Ksh 900,000 you will be able to get a foreign used one. The only problem, when compared to the Probox, is that its body tends to age more quickly. The car is generally reliable and has more space than the Probox, fuel economy is good and spare parts are available.

Just like its competitors, a foreign used Toyota Vitz was retailing for less than a million not so long ago, however, now with Ksh 800,00, you can go for a 2014 model or below. The vehicle is very famous on our roads mainly due to its reliability, it also has a great fuel economy, it is easy to maintain and spare parts are available.
