Mazda Atenza rating in Kenya

The comfort of this car is great. The legroom is good on both rows except for the middle seat on the second row. Most of the models come with comfortable leather seats. Apart from the spacious cabin, the interior is also quiet giving you a peaceful ride. The Mazda Bose music system that is fitted on Mazda 6 is also great. On some higher trims, you get a sunroof. Do not forget that all trims of the Mazda 6 come fitted with the most recent tech features.

Mazda engines have a good reputation when it comes to reliability. This is a similar case when it comes to the Mazda Atenza. As far as you service the car as required and take care of it, you will get a long service life with no major breakdown. The fuel consumption is however not among the best.

For driving experience, the car handles plenty well, you will also get a smooth ride not to mention the automatic gear that is better for the driving experience compared to a CVT transmission. The engine might performance is however not that great, especially for a non-turbo Atenza.

The Atenza safety rating on ANCAP is 5 stars for 2018 models and onwards. It comes with dual frontal, side chest-protecting and side head-protecting (curtain) airbags as standard. Other features such as Lane departure assist and the RVM also contribute to the safety of this car.

While the price is a bit high for the car, we still feel it is value for money. You get a well-designed exterior and robust tech features. The comfort given is also luxurious and the driving experience is also great especially when it comes to handling plus the reliability you get. The only downside is the fuel consumption on some trims and the engine performance(power).

Bottomline

The price of Mazda Atenza in Kenya will vary depending on the model year of the car, if you have a low budget you can go for a locally used one, the foreign used ones that are on sale by dealers are moderately priced. When it comes to running costs, they are affordable, this is because the Sedan is easy to maintain and the fuel economy is good.
