Mazda Premacy review in Kenya

After interacting with the car, here is what we have to say about it.

Overall Rating(4.0/5)
Comfort
Reliability
Driving experience
Safety rating
Value for money
Premacy cost

The comfort of the vehicle is not top-notch, most models come with cloth seats. The legroom is great on the first and second row, however, the third will feel tight for adults. You will however like the tech features, additionally, some models do come with a sunroof.

Mazda Premacy is a reliable car that will not give you a run for your money with constant garage visits. However, you will need to take care of your car and ensure you do the service and the maintenance as required. The fuel consumption for the car is average.

Premacy road handling is plenty good, the automatic gear gives a better interaction with the vehicle as opposed to a CVT. The performance of the engine is also great. The car however lacks basic features that assist the driver and are found on most recent cars such as cruise control.

According to ANCAP international, the safety of Mazda Premacy is 5 stars for the 2009 to 2014 models. Antilock brakes (ABS), electronic brakeforce distribution (EBD), emergency brake assist and electronic stability control (ESC) are standard. So are the Dual front airbags and seat belt reminders.

The car price is not that high. However, the car lacks some tech features and the despite having a spacious cabin, all rows are not comfortable. We hence feel that we can not place the car at the top when it comes to value for money. That being said, you should still consider this car and compare what it has to offer with its rivals.

Bottomline

Mazda Premacy price is not that high, with around 1.5 million shillings, you will be an owner of a Premacy in good condition, you can even go for one with a local owner and pay less than a million. With a good fuel economy and also no frequent problems, the Mazda Premacy has low running costs.
